Anderson Cooper Spotlights Plumpy’nut

Although this CNN segment was aired in 2007, Anderson Cooper does a tremendous job highlighting the miraculous capabilities of Plumpy’nut.  Cooper traveled to a remote village Niger to visit Médecins Sans Frontières’ (MSF) therapeutic feeding stations.  Before the introduction of Plumpy’nut, Niger’s MSF station had more young malnourished patients than hospital beds.  In fact, the therapeutic feeding station Cooper visited had the highest malnutrition rate in Niger in 2005.  It now has the lowest!  Plumpy’nut has given new hope to children, parents, doctors, humanitarian workers around the world.
